okay nevermind, i added # in the beginning and end of prepare(), chromium started build but it just goes to slow, it's not for this cpu... So nevermind now :-) Not going to build it

I had to stop compiling this heavy package, cuz i couldn't sleep when laptop was on + when i checked whats happening whole system froze.
So i turned laptop on in the middle of compiling and now i turn the laptop on, type makepkg -si again and i get some build() error...

PLS HELP

You have to learn how to limit resources while compiling or it will suck all the energy of an old limited little machine.
For a person who hates google with a vengeance you sure are flirting with the devil, a google browser. That ungoogled chrome on aur is abandoned for ages, very old and dumb. You might as well use brave which is an ungoogled chromium.

Otherwise, pacman -Sdd chromium and then run a firewall to anything google.
when you remake a build from scratch use th -C option to makepkg
% makepkg -Csi

I don't hate google ;P. I just don't want to be their customer, that's all.
I tried to compile palemoon but it's taking ages...

Yes, they told me that on arch forums cuz i asked... But it's gonna take at least 2 days to compile this... So it's rather pointless...
