Installed xorg then fluxbox as you would expect. Could not get pulseaudio to start so added this (copied from a forum somewhere) to ~/.xinitrc: before it starts Fluxbox:
pulseaudio --check
pulseaudio -D
Also timezone was wrong so I modified the TZ code/parameter in /etc/66/boot.conf . Default is GMT. From installing Arch years ago I remembered for Los Angeles the code was "PST????" so found it by looking in /usr/share/zoneinfo. Correct one was PST8PDT.
Installed Firefox, LibreOffice, etc and all works great. Very fast and responsive.
