Hi! I have installed Lutris but it depends from gnome-desktop that has a dependecy from systemd.
I have succesfully installed lutris and gnome-desktop installing all dependencies manually except systemd dependency and than I have installed gnome-desktop and lutris without dependencies. It runs fine (i also play blizzard games without trouble) but once gnome-desktop need to be updated i need to update it manually because there is the systemd dependency that is unsolvable... Need i report a bug? Can i rebuild the package without this dependency? How can I rebuild this package?

this don't work! :D
What is this about closing threads, I never understood this mentality. People deciding on their own that a public discussion is closed and over and whatever the subject, it should not be discussed anymore.

Authoritarian conditioning, authoritarian mental....... tight shoes, tight pants, tight ties, .... and handfuls of industrial laxatives to cure the ...mental.....

..... and gnome desktops ...

sorry i'm a newbie... btw i hate gnome but it is a dependency of lutris.
than... can you add gnome-destop to obarun repository without sistemd dependency or i need to recompile the package?
sorry my bad, i compiled it but forgot to push it at obextra repo.
So, sync and update
skikky94 wrotesorry i'm a newbie... btw i hate gnome
so as a newbie I should apologize since you don't know my sense of bitter humour.
I was joking of course since there is no real way to lock a thread, you can edit your subject and say [solved], but for the shake of consistency very few people have ever done this.

Q: When arch marks a package deprecated does this mean it will soon be removed? One gnome thing I have installed is libgnome-keyring, and 2 pkgs are dependent on it. I wonder if it means that the keys will expire and the pkg will be useless and not replaced/updated.
