downloading latest obarun now.
i excitedly scrawled out
wget http://www.obarun.org/obarun-iso/v0.5.3/obarun_x86_64-v0.5.3.iso && dd if=obarun_x86_64-v0.5.3.iso of=/dev/sdc1
(or a more mangled elaborate version to similar effect)
:)
hi.
distroholic, in recovery (~bedrocklinux), been using void as my "go-to distro" these days. loving the idea for obarun as written out on the home page. gonna try it out native on my big rig, which i've run a lazy sabayon on for the past few days (and already too buggy/unreliable/freezy/crashy to tollerate further), lazing my way past breaking my xorg in bedrock on that machine. then likely shove it in as a bedrock stratum, since i'm aiming for a systemdless bedrock. and that narrows the selection for strata quite a bit.... and, in that smaller pool to choose from, (on paper at least, since i've yet to try) obarun looks like a bright light. keen to get in there n see what it's like. :)
yay! fresh distro meat!
looking forward to this. obarun, even if you turn out to be not to my tastes (doubtful, since there's a firm antisystemd policy and practice in place), you're still one to watch. :) very glad this exists. the world needed this.
bunch of heretics! ;D witch! burn 'em! ;D
(P.S. vague vague memories of having tried the first release, might be imagining it.)
