There is a wlroots and a bemenu-wlroots pkg, the 1st on community-testing the 2nd on community.

Can wayland work in obarun, therefore plasma and sway can work using wayland?

Why is there this story that it will never work without systemd/elogind, and if that is true then what is weston, wlroots and stuff doing here?
I think some of JM's plasma images used it, and I think that is about the only tolerable implementation I have seen that was functional. Anything else I tried, including the most horrible of all Ubuntu, was crap.

But if wayland, contrary to popular folkclore, can run without elogind/sysfackD, then I wouldn't mind trying it. But this is what I am confused about. Every reference I find is that it is impossible to run without systemd's logind that provides ??login1? .... I don't even get what a "seat" is.
