[Solved] Unable to mount my stick

Hi people, after a long time i insert my stick and i get this error:

mount: /media: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdc, missing codepage or helper program, or other error.

Spacefm: error 32

mount: /media/sdc1-usb-hp_c485w_AA110D3: unknown filesystem type 'vfat'.

Some idea?

sound like a fuc*** key. Do you tried to mount it on another system?

Still not. But i tried with several keys...
And on other bus.

It works on the other system (Manjaro).

What does
"% sudo blkid /dev/sdc"
"%sudo blkid /dev/sdc1" show?
% sudo mount /dev/sdc1 /mnt
% ls -al /mnt

The kernel is responsible of the vfat filesystem.
so check if it's available in your current kernel:

# find /usr/lib/module -name vfat

check your dmesg output

# dmesg | grep vfat

try to see if the module is loaded if not try to load it

# lsmod | grep vfat
# modprobe vfat
