Can you try to rebuild the sddm package on your host with the last version of qt5?
qt5-base has been rebuilt 3 times since yesterday, gone to 162 and 163, all due to kde patching, so possibly there is a problem they are attempting to solve by all those upgrades.

@ eric, sorry for late reply. Just synced and the problem persists. sddm refuses to come up. Should qt5-based be update as well?
