I've been here on and off for a while now so thought I'd say something.
Enjoying obarun!
Been using GNU/Linux since 1998, didn't really get into it until 2000/2001, taking 3 days to put Red Hat on my Toshiba laptop!
Tried (too!?) many distros.
Not a fan of systemd, so my choice of late:
GuixSD - an interesting system
Gentoo/Funtoo - solid.
MXLinux - solid
Miyo - Devuan based - pretty solid, missing some stuff but not difficult to work around.
And of course
Obarun - learning the init (s6/66) system. Never was a fan of Arch, always seemed to break too often for me - but here we are. What drew me back? Openbox option on installer.
My background: engineer (electronics and mechanics) inventor/developer/builder of projects, Christian, married with one. Love music, photography, travel, and interested in what makes people tick.
It's good to be here!

"My background: engineer "

That's great :). Do you still use obarun? :)
