Is there any chance of Arch Linux using Suite66 as it's main Init? And is it still maintained if so? I despise the watered down sellout that is Artix, however Suite66 in particular has always intrigued me (not s6, I'm referring solely to the Suite66 "Wrapper"), so with Runit, S6 (sorta) & Openrc being in the AUR is there a way to get 66 as well? And is it still maintained as Artix has evidently as of the latest weekly update, discontinued 66 due to "lack of maintenance."
Is Arch Linux + 66 possible?
No chance at all. Arch use systemd and do not support other init system. Is there any chance of Arch Linux using Suite66 as it's main Init?
Maybe someone can provide it on AUR....being in the AUR is there a way to get 66 as well?
Well, Artix... again...And is it still maintained as Artix has evidently as of the latest weekly update, discontinued 66 due to "lack of maintenance."
Artix devs are not the creator, maintainer and developer of 66. So, who care about what they say about it. There no lack of maintenance but a new version coming with tremendous change on it and take time to design and write it. Now, if Artix want to support me i will not be forced to work to pay my bills :).
Take a look at the dev branch https://git.obarun.org/Obarun/66/-/tree/dev.
Obarun is Arch with 66 by the way
Might actually give that a shot after seeing the script & what it even looks like, I only know Obarun as the developer or Suite66/S6 tbh, seen it as a creator id credited on the aforementioned & related init packages, thanks.
