I've updated my system today, but this has resulted in an unbootable system, that does not even have an accessible tty.
Both "libmount.so.1" and "libblkid.so.1" had the errors "cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".
A quick internet search told me they were from "util-linux-libs". The updated version we have is "-2.38.1-4"
I tried downgrading "util-linux-libs" (via chroot) to "2.38.1-2" and "2.38-2", but to no avail.
I've managed to restore my system to an old backup with timeshift at the moment, so all is well for now.
Just curious what might have rendered my system unbootable with the "util-linux-libs" package upgrade?
