I already use this new version on my personal system. However, still need few weeks to test and debug if necessary before making the tag.

I'm excited! so I loaded the git version in my system, but the 1st hurdle is the migration, I get this output when trying automatic migration:
status: fatal: replace regex character: [main] by: [Main] for service: /usr/share/66/service/user//miniserve
edit: I forgot to upgrade oblibs dev together with it. Everything is fine so far. will let you know if I run into any hurdles
I didn't expected that users will try it before the tag! That's a good surprise for me.
Thanks so much for your test and feedback. It seems to work pretty well, but it's difficult to test all the things and i use 66 in a certain way. Other user may use it differently. That's why feedback is important for me.
eric The migration code is great, it hunts down for all service files whether active or not, so that is a bonus- I dont need to run ./migration_service.sh right away.
I appreciate this, I ve learned a lot since I started with linux and Obarun 4 yrs ago, now I can take risk and be a test user.
Thanks for your kind words.
The snapshot feature is really an user-friendly API and should also be appreciated by user, as it gives them peace of mind.
what do you think about the output of the 66 status
command without specifying a service?
eric Very convenient, I pleased with it.

Let me know if you prefer me to open an issue at the git but I cannot boot yet with this new commit.
I tried redirecting the log to a file with redirfd -w 1 /var/startup in rc.init but it doesnt show the full log even with verbosity of 4.
However, looking at the log, eveything seems fine until applying sysctl file
Wat-now Let me know if you prefer me to open an issue
yes please. Make it with the maximum of details and available output like for example what you can find at /run/66/log directory.
I'm confuse because i was thinking with your previous post that your system was already successfully updated.
