A new year of obarun life will finish soon (august).
A new year of progress about the system and in particular concerning S6 suite. Booting the system under S6 is now fully operationnal and the helper s6opts too.
But it's not the only improvement of obarun system, so what's new during this year :
- pacopts : improvement of processes concerning installation things (applytmp, applysys, origin). The new functionnality concerning AUR installation with aur option, we can now install and managing package coming from AUR
- s6-boot : an huge of improvement was made on this booting script like lvm features, reorganization of the booting strucuture, creation of s6.conf, managing the tmpdir and so one....
- s6opts : so much improvement about this script to tell all here :) ( updating on the fly the live database, creating and editing services,...)
- obarun-build : the new one on the family :). this script allow to use and manage lxc container. we can build a package on a safe environment and this is really a good features to take care about a system. we can build an lxc container and using it to install some program like wine,..., which allow us to avoid to poluate the main system or testing a package without touching the main system...
- obarun-install, obarun-mkiso, obarun-libs : well, the evolution of those scripts continue step by step....
and the repo was increased with some more packages
Well, a lot of works was made again.
