I am trying to find out what triggers the gvfsd to run and since it is not handled by s6 how can one bring it up on demand instead of it running at all times?
anyone using gvfs?
Certainly launched automatically by dbus service, so if you want to stop the start you have two choice :
- Try to argue with the main devs of dbus to explain at them that their soft sucks.... (good luck)
- Rename/remove the corresponding service at /usr/share/dbus-1/services.
this will avoid the service to start automatically
