Probably few people find this tasteless, I think it is funny.

Looking forward to the oktober minimal image.
All hail Obarun
you don't need to wait for the ISO, just launch obarun-install and pick the minimal template, you will have the same as the ISO with fresh package

By the way, thanks for sharing your stuff
Oh so I could boot my old usb stick and then update obarun-install and then install freshly the minimal template? cool

That means i just need a good disk-wiper now.
I also could burn the new minimal template on a usb stick, boot it and run obarun-install from there right?

create a file with dd then associate it on a loop, mount the loop in some directory, install the system on it then use obarun-mkiso, this will make an ISO of your fresh installed system.
This is the process to make the official Obarun ISO.

Ok but I still got and old image of obarun on the stick. Could I use that, run the installer, update the installer and use the minimal template? Or should I use the newer minimal image, which has obarun installer too (?). Is there any difference? I'm a bit confused...

Use the newer JWM or minimal image.

Download Obarun Live 2018-09 JWM ISO or Obarun Live minimal 2018-09 ( without JWM ) ISO , check the SUM before dd on your stick and follow the normal procedure for the installation.

If you have some questions before the installation, take notes and come on obarun irc channel. I am available on the channel to answer all your questions.

EDIT: I have just done a new test with obarun live JWM ISO 2018-09, in case you prefer to use JWM DE for your installation, everything works perfectly.

PS: By the way, nice cyberpunk theme :)

Well the new obarun live minimal iso doesn't work for me... see new thread under obarun-install

Thx Jean-Michel

Are you still using IRC? Any chance you install discord?

I have again access to IRC, and I need it currently to help Eric to test 66. However I'm working on an libre and opensource alternative too. That could be Movim with XMPP protocol but I will study other softwares.
Any chance you install discord?
