user namespaces? do I have to enable them in the kernel?

Are you trying to build it from source with the pkgbuild from AUR ?
I installed one version in the aur, though It is not really the version I want to use in the future, because they have now two apps, one with muon and one based on chromium. But like 4 different packets in the aur for muon version. I got it installed and it's working, just not as good as it should. But I think the Bus problem is because I didn't have a user database, but I was running services like adcpi and dbus. So they are conflicting and basically the system is a bit broken now. So we will see after the reset.

Ok. Well, I took a look at the code source, the software uses npm and it's not my cup of tea. My advise, always check the pkgbuild content before an installation or a compilation.

Cool I will check it. I found out about User namespaces, you have to activate that in the kernel manually. I was surprised what is not activated by default in the kernel, interesting.... The rest no idea, but the non muon version coming soon.
