Has anyone tried the new arch testing/linux 5.0.1.arch1-1?
It takes a little longer to pass to stage2 and the only problem I noticed was that usb drives didn't appear in /dev/disk/**
I don't know if core/linux 5.0-arch1 does the same.

So I switched back to 4.20-13
This may be indeed specific to 5.0.1-arch1-1-ARCH because my Obarun updated to 5.0.0-arch1-1-ARCH a few days (or weeks?) ago and everything is running as usual including USB drives being listed in /dev/disk/**
I would like to test this, but I have a hard dependency on ZFS which makes upgrading to [testing] kernels impossible.
Is there a special reason you are sticking to 4.20? (out of curiosity)
No issues with 5.0.1.arch1-1 here (s6).
It may be hardware specific problem, I'll have to investigate more.
I have been using artix kernels for a long time, I trust them more ever since the NSA kernel arch insisted on. They skip editions to save building time, and they avoid first new versions. So it is probably going to be 5.0.2
The last time I had experienced kernel problems was 4.13.
Booted 5.0.2 in a couple of systems, no problem. Now I am puzzled and will try to go back to 5.0.1.1 arch to see if I can replicate the problem I had.
