My little list shows 78 (including derivatives)
http://sysdfree.wordpress.com/135 shows many more

obarun.org: "Obarun is neither a distribution of its own, nor is it pure Archlinux, it's a Build Concept. Obarun is based on Archlinux, but incorporates several changes."

I don't know if Devuan or Antix or MX have more packages than Obarun, I never counted, but it really is the same approach. Replacing the init system and service manager, throwing away systemd, then rebuild any pkgs that have unnecessary dependencies on the dreaded system and can work otherwise. To give them some credit Arch is a bit more honest and easier to clean up than debian.

It is a good thing that more and more sites are dedicated to the cause, of struggling to keep linux "clean" of the Hydra. If you see some general linux sites with high corporate advertising and continuous mention of the "positive" and "generous" impact of large corporations to linux, you will never see any mention of any existing "alternatives" to systemd. They paint the picture that linux and systemd is the one and only thing.

Of course that redhat side, because they're the best...

Lennart Poettering is truly a visionair and genius, this is why i love him and his software... Redhat company is the best because they fund his projects... I hope that one day obarun gonna realise that systemd is the best init system
