I have been distrohopping for months and well, I have to confess I am pretty demanding :) I was looking for some Linux version combining elegance, speed, privacy and flexibility and just by chance stumbled upon Obarun. What to say? It really meets all my requirements, this concept build has the fastest init software I have ever seen and I am using it as a daily driver, happily following its development. Kudos to the devs, keep up the great work and hello to all the members of the forum!
When I started here I didn't know as much to evaluate it on its technical merits, I just thought it was good and worth exploring. I don't distrohop much for distrohopping, but I evaluate and follow a whole bunch (without systemd) and learn from differences. Obarun seemed better and better the more I understood. I keep all others upgraded and current but rarely do I use one to use it, I just make sure it is still as functional.

One thing I like here better than any other place is that when you encounter a problem (may or may not be a bug) you are not treated as a public enemy, especially Eric loves to hear someone has found a bug. Even when no bugs are found he goes and rewrites the whole thing and makes it better. That is hard to find.

Don't tell anyone about S6, it is a secret kept away from public only for the very few... :)
@ fungalnet yes, I forgot to mention THE very important requirement while trying different distros and builds, that is freedom from systemd! :P I have been using Artix lately and I still think that it's a good distro, however I really love both Obarun philosophy and s6 much more than anything else! And yes, I totally agree with you, it's not usual to find such a kind community of users and devs, I had a problem and after few hours you, Eric and Jean Michel replied and now all my trouble is gone! :)
Hummm yes sure, I will keep my secret, I am already jealous of this 6s all around my PC :)
