To turn DoH off in your firefox:

Open the 'Menu' > click on 'preferences' > in general tab go to 'Network Settings' > and click on 'settings' : untick the Enable DNS over HTTPs checkbox.

Also

Type about:config in the browser address bar.

Empty the variables:
network.trr.uri
network.trr.credentials
network.trr.bootstrapAddress

Search for:
network.trr.mode and set a value of 5 to completely disable it.


Now you'r free from chinese spy agencies ...

EDIT: A french blog report that completely disable network.trr.mode can break the browser and the browser could no longer resolve domain names.
I do not have such problem on my side.

Thanks for the message.DNS over HTTPs is disabled by default in my installed firefox 69.0.
network.trr.credentials and network.trr.bootstrapAddress are empty too.Only network.trr.uri needs to be emptied in my case.
Thanks for the heads up, my waterfox has neither dns over http or trr options on config.
I wonder now if firefox-esr has them. I only use ff-esr on void-musl since waterfox would have to be compiled from source to run on musl and so do its libraries/dependencies (not much). With the frequency of upgrades it hasn't been worth my while to do so.

So why would the Chinese spy on us, I thought they only spy on people in China?
