Just checked there is a new Nov ISO out with a new installer . Just curious what is new/different in this new installer?
It is a new installer :)

The final product is the same, which means if you did an installation of xfce4 2 months ago and it is updated today and you do an installation of xfce4 today with the new installer the system will be the same. According to feedback by users Eric decided to remake the installer so it is less confusing for new users and speaks the same language used by many other installers. Engine and transmission is the same, brakes and suspension are the same, the lights and the fenders look a little different and the rear spoiler now has rounded fins, and the wheels are shiny. :)

@ fungalnet , the way you described this new installer I am getting temptations to take a ride on it :D
you can install obarun-install in your existing installation and run it from there, same thing. Just look at /etc/obarun/ to see if there is an install.conf and replace it with install.conf.pacnew if you had obarun-install installed before. This is a mistake I made and couldn't see the latest revision, I was looking at an intermediary edition.

Just wondering can we run obarun-install from an existing installed Obarun and mount a partition ( a blank one ) and install a fresh Obarun on that partition ? Will it work ?
oh yes! :)

Or you can use pacman το build a system from scratch into that /mnt
make the /var/lib/pacman directory into the /mnt
# pacman -Sy base -r /mnt
# arch-chroot /mnt
Hey saleem I use obarun-install from my workstation to make rescue-USBs that way. Works wonders!
