As far as I understand this tool/s help someone create a service file for any service/daemon program. This alias sub-tool helps convert a runit service file to an s6 compatible file.

So if the man who wrote s6 himself is reducing its power to get something out of the door and to cover Adelie needs for removing all of OpenRC, there is a quick need to be satisfied.
It is the denial of 66's existence that puzzles me with all of those DIY projects. It would be interesting to go back to history and read what happened immediately after the invention of the wheel, how many people denied it and kept trying to design their own non-circular wheel. Instead Eric is on fire and is going from carbon fire wheels to something lighter, faster, stronger,... who knows. It is like a little kid, he opened a new door and he run away through it ... come back Eric, come back, we can't see in the dark.
