Hi, I have joined the GitLab to contribute, I just transferred my project to PKG/obcommunity , activated and sync'd the repo but pacman won't find my package. Instead I get a cryptic error message saying "this package is a file. Did you mean pacman -U instead of pacman -S"? what did I do wrong?TIA
[SOLVED] shared a package on obcommunity but pacman won't find it
Which repo? If it is openvpn-66serv then you need to create a tag in order for the package to be built and published. The naming convention on tags is version, i.e. "0.0.1-1".

advesperascit the repo is on community, yes , that's the package. I had just created and tagged the release, is it fine? sorry, I'm totally new to Gitlab:)

Yes, I can find your package with pacman now so you're good!
@wastelander
Wonderfull, but please request an access to the observice repo and switch this package to observice. It will be better to classify it to the good repo.
wastelander changed the title to [SOLVED] shared a package on obcommunity but pacman won't find it .
