I also managed to open indicator-sound-switcher but it does not help to switch back to speakers

How do you put the <code> in the box?
- Edited
You can highlight it and use insert code </> button somewhere on the same bar as you see post reply etc. or use ``` on start and same on end of code.
How come your HDMI/DP Audio Controller is not shown? Do you have the right drivers installed? For me it is my nvidia card and I think I need to have either nouveau or proprietary installed. I have them thru dkms. what does your lspci | grep VGA
show?
- Edited
igrk@obarunS6 ~ % lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)
the HDMI is unplugged.
Ok so when you plug HDMI in, it doesnt appear in wpctl status as HDMI/DP Audio Controller? Your TV might only register 16 bit audio have you tried this: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/how-to-enable-hdmi-audio-output-in-wireplumber-on-fedora-41/137313 it says fedora but should work on arch/Obarun too
it remains the same.
But my problem now is that i get no sound on the laptop with or without plugged tv!
Alright so you can delete that file because thats a regression. What does $aplay -l
output show

Stopping pipewire, wireplumber, pipewire-pulse and rebooting i got the audio on the laptop back.
